The Life of Alan and Alex

Figured since I hadn't updated this thing in a while might as well.
I went to jen's birthday party type thing. I ruined my night by taking tylenol pm, thinking it had about and hour to kick in...well it took about an hour to get the tv going, by the time the movie got put on I was out.
I have had a decent couple of weeks. Lisa threatened to Shelby that I was going to get fired over shit Alan had done at work, that is all said and done and now she isn't being a complete bitch anymore.
Oh, I contacted the HUmane society about a dog that came into for me to groom her. She was in terrible condition. I bought her a new collar with my money and to
Courtney is moving in with us July 9th, we got her room all set up and bought an a/c unit to go in her room. It's nicer than either of ours. I will eventually get a fan to put in that room and replace all the other fans in the house.
All our animals are now in the living room, dining room, her room, and our room. The rescue has filled our house even more with animals.
We just got a $1000 bearded dragon given to us. That's the second VERY expensive thing we got given to us for the rescue. The other thing was a $2000 cage from cages by design. I have always wanted one of their cages but knew I could never afford it so I just never thought about one. We also got a macklot python. I emailed a guy about his red tail boas.
Eh, well I'm going to go watch Taken and then probably go to sleep.
Tomorrow is going to be spent with mom, taylor, and nanny I guess. Till I leave and then probably spend the rest of the night with Dad and Susanne.

He surprised me at work with  a present just because. It was a fairy from wizards, cuz I love fairies, not to mention the really pretty bag he wrapped it it with the tissue paper done correctly like I taught him. He also went with me to walmart and bought all sorts of flower seeds and vegetable seeds and helped me plant them all in pots and stuff. I love him so much :)

My week has been decent. I got threatened by a customer that she was calling corporate on me, a coworker, and my manager. I told her she was rude to Judy and I didn't appreciate it so she pitched a fit. Oh well. My sister is being a brat and getting Nanny in trouble with my mom and it's world war 3 at their house right now.  I feel bad for Nanny and I told her she could chill with Alan and I anytime she needed to even if I had a horrible day I would always be happy to have her. 

So far our rescue has gotten 4 turtles, 2 bearded dragons, 1 ball python, and a marbled salamander. Hopefully we can find them all good homes.

Alan has finished building our new cage for out savannah monitors, savvy and godzilla. It's HUUGEE, they will be much happier.
My week has been pretty boring for the most part.

We chilled at his dad's house most of the week and had dinner over there. I am still trying to think of shit to do for mothers day that is cheap.

Alan is letting me got to alabama to get a chinese crested for my birthday she is so pretty.

I'm excited. Hopefully I'll have enough money to get down there to pick her up. I am letting him catch a copperhead for his anniversary present. So our anniversary should be fairly inexpensive considering Alan shouldn't get bit...if he does, in the long run our anniversary will have been expensive.

My transmission has finally broken. We can only go 20 mph unless we are going down hill and then we can get it up to 40. We are getting it fixed tomorrow. Alan's dad is paying for it and Alan is paying him back.
I got Alan dental insurance and now I have health insurance again. I think I've been without it for 3-4 months now. Eventually I will get Alan health so I can get him vision insurance so he can get new glasses if he needs them.
He managed to get a rescue group to come to him at his vet's clinic. It's my old asshole bosses client...they must have royally pissed good dog rescue off because now they are going to pay Alan to do the dogs and Ashley and Brian were doing them for free for tax write offs. I'm excited about that and very proud of Alan for it. I have been working A LOT lately so I have no time to update. I went to Garrett's b-day party last weekend. It was the best little kids party I had been to. A lot of thought and time went into it. The had a slumber party basically with Austin and Jen. We were like little kids, we talked all  night. It was the most fun we've had in forever.
Our reptile rescue has picked up a bit. We got a ball python in. We will be re-homing him on may 2nd I think. And another turtle that can go to his new home sometime in may. He is a pretty cool turtle though. He has a HUGE head.
Alan has been doing chores around the house lately. It has been helping A LOT.  I just don't have shit for time anymore. I think that is all I can update on for now. We have pretty boring lives.

Worked another 8 hours. Got a cat to do on my day off at this lady's house. That will be good money. I went to walmart and got fingernail polish and did my nails. I also gave a homeless guy 3$, it was all I had. Plus he had two dogs and he bought them mcdonalds with the money he had before I got there and fed them pretty much all of both sandwiches and only took a bite for himself. That's why I gave him the money. It's hard to find people like that. And that is somewhat of the reason I do not believe god is real or atleast if he is he doesn't give too much of a shit about us. Good people like that don't deserve to live on the street, and bad people don't deserve all the happiness they recieve. Like some politicians and most business people. Anyhow here's pics of my nails. Yes, I know I have to fix the sides,  I just did a really quick and impatients job on them. Oh and we screwed walmart ouf of some money and put a 10$ sticker on a 15$ pool so we only paid 10$ for a kiddy pool for our turtles. :). We buy shit from walmart enough so it doesn't count. Oh, and my friend emily is giving me one of her siamese rats!!

I've been working the past few days. No time to update. I got a new phone sent but it is defective so I have to call and get ANOTHER phone. Got a house for kratos, have to go meet with the guy on sunday. Unfortunately this reptile rescue has not been going well. People think that rescue = us keeping the animals forever...no it means we will find them very good homes. So so far I have ended up with 4 animals I never really wanted int he first place.

We watched Bolt a minute ago, it was a really good movie, we liked it. I've been really sore lately from having to stand all day. I'm not used to these eight hour shifts but they sure beat working at Pet Effects so all in all I'm pleased with my job.

Got the job at petco and went in today to fill out paperwork. Yay I get discounts on animal stuff, god knows we need it. So Alan works at a vet and that gives us low cost veterinary care and now I got a job that gives us discounts on animals supplies.  I think that kicks ass, especially with the zoo we currently have.
Alan is all excited to officially have his first animal rescue. It's a lady that doesn't have time for her bearded dragon. So now we will have two till we can find this one a home. I think this could be fun. We will just have to make that room clean and build some cages so that if people want to see the facilities we don't have to be like "no".
Peepee ate my phone so now I have to wait till thursday to get a new one :(...that sucks.

Haven't done a whole lot since I last posted. We got a bearded dragon baby, he is sooo cute.  Went to his paretns house and chilled for a day and then went my parents house and hung out with them for the day. Didn't do much at either house, but it's always fun to go over there.
So far we haven't caught not one snake. He did however catch two soft shelled tutrles he has been wanting.
We cleaned up our house today and emptied my nasty fish tank finally. Also have the ferrets cage all clean again (they are so fucking nasty).
We are def. getting rid of out boxer now. I woke up to go see what was going on and he has opened  up one of my cupboards and took all of my food out and shredded it outside. My shake n bake, ceareal, pancake mix, syrup, you name it, he took it out there. I have had enough with destructive ass dogs. We have saved him for the last time and now it is time for him to find another place to stay. I will keep him till I can find him a home because even though I don't like him very much right now I don't want him to rot in a shelter. Which is what most people would have done by this time. He had also tried to take my brand new couch pillows all outside. I can't stand that dog and he is hands down one of the worst dogs I have ever owned. So much for a good birthday present for Alan last year. He turned out to be a horrible dog and now Alan no longer wants boxers.

Passed my test at petco today so now I def. have a job with them.
Mom was in a wreck, fuckers totalled her NEW scion...well, she'll get a new car out of it. My sister was riding with her. Some dumbass turns without using a turning signal off a road to turn into his house, she sees him and stops, asshole behind her doesn't see him and plows into the back of her. So now the back tires are jammed into her back seat. A lovely mess. She already has enough stress problems without dumbass millington drivers ramming into the back of her.
That makes three times we have been rear ended in a year of living in milington, one guy hit her explorer because it was raining and he didn't slow down quick enough. Some douche totalled his BMW on the back of Nanny's F150, didn't leave a scratch on her car. And now mom's brand new scion is totalled...

I have a grooming test tomorrow, just so petco can see that I treat the dogs properly, hopefully I will pass, I don't see why I wouldn't. Then after that, I will have a good joba nd I can finally quit the one I have now that I just haven't been going to the past couple days. Nothing interesting has happened today, it rained all day though. I love that kind of weather. Alan and I are going to start a reptile rescue, well in the process of. We are advertising on craigslist and what not. He is making a site for it right now. I will post a link when he is done.

Alan wanted to be an asshole and wake me up to " a corvette rear ended me on the way home" today. I was worried till I heard what he said then I figured he was joking. We didn't do anything really today. Went and looked for snakes, didn't find anything. I did however, make dinner and dessert. I'm trying to get into the habit of cooking and keeping my house clean for once. We are getting a lot better at keeping our house clean, plus our dogs not pissing and shitting everywhere also helps a lot.

I have been to tired to update.
I got a call yesterday from petco and I went in for an interview to be a groomer for them. I got the job and I have to take a test to make sure I treat the dogs okay. i get to bring one of my dogs in to groom it so I will pass with flying colors. I'm excited to finally have a good job with benefits so that I can got to the doctor and Alan can get his teeth fixed up.
I am going to be "sick" from my current job for a while so I won't have any problems getting my check on saturday because I think if I quit they might not give it to me. So I have to fake a back injury, no hard to do. So everything should be alright.
We got groceries today and I am going to start cooking at home. Hopefully it will save us some money.
Our transmission is finally to the breking point so we are going to have to save up for that. It won't be much maybe $500. That won't take long to save.
We went snake hunting and didn't find anything but 3 mice.
Alan accidently ripped his skin off his tail catching him :'( it looks horrible. Worse in person.
That was pretty much our day.

I shaved my mom's great pyrenees today. I chilled with my mom and nanny. Mom apparently knows the Flo-rida song low, she was singing it today, the things she learns at work. That is pretty much my whole day.

We went to work today and were SUPPOSED to get off by like 1 and didn't get off till 3 ish because ashley decided, "hey I'm going to accept dogs after 1 o'clock and make Alex and Alan do them"...bottom line, we got pissed off, not a good day at work.
After work came home, let the dogs out and went to his parents house to help lay down wood flooring and we ate ribs that Susanne made, they were VERY good. That was pretty much my day.

My headache decided to mostly go away. Our day was not that eventful.
We went to pick his check up then went around to all the petco's (since there are no good pet stores around) trying to find another rat.  We didn't find one.
Then we went to olive garden and ate and I ended up forgetting my box  of food there. Oh well. I came home and immediately went to sleep because I had had a migraine since 3.
Hopefully tomorrow I won't  get a headache and hopefully Brian won't want to start shit at work tomorrow about me bringing Alan to help. If he does oh well, because I have to turn that application back in on monday and meet with the guy to discuss my new job. So I don't really care if Brian starts shit. It will give me something else against him when I quit.
I hope it rains tomorrow since I don't really need to do a whole lot of dogs, my check will already be about $900 or more and I still have all next week to make more money on that check.
Well, it's off to bed for me.

I have the headache from hell today. I will post tomorrow.

SO I have decided instead of writing big long entries or decent sized entries I will update everyone on my boring ass shit everyday or at least more regularly.
Today I went to work and rushed through all my dogs and got out of there by 1. I think I pissed off my bosses because I  wouldn't go and help them at their other location with dogs that didn't need to go home till 5. AND after Alan and I had already made plans to go snake hunting. Mom helped me lie to them about how she got off work early and all that so that they didn't think I was just not going to help because I didn't feel like it (which was definitely the case)
Snake hunting today = complete waste of time and gas. Didn't find a damn thing and two of our plans failed because 1. the lake was fenced in and 2. we just about ran out of gas in the middle of the forest which its about 17 miles out of there to the nearest gas station. We barely made it. We went to the bridge we usually search under but the water was racing, so obviously there wasn't going to be any snakes in it. All in all it was time well spent with Alan though. I do love being outdoors with him, plus it doesn't let us spend money like trips to walmart because I am bored and there isn't shit to do here.

I think I might have a new job, if not that's fine too. I'll get one sooner or later.
Not a whole lot has happened. W helped Alan's parents rip their carpet up. I helped Susanne in her garden. We made $120.
We went to Old Time Pottery and got a new bed set, a couch cover, and some pillows. We also got some of the carpet from his parents house and put it in our bedroom. It obviously isn't professionally done but it looks A LOT better.
I want to get some hanging plants for outside now and I will soon be completely happy with the house. It definitely looks a lot better than when we moved in.
Alan is getting a good check on Thursday so we can look forward to that.
We rearranged our bedroom and took our boxspring out to the trash, we had two so the bed would be really high when the dogs would get on the bed and ruin it but since they don't do that too much anymore we figured it would look a lot better without it. Which is makes the room look huge compared to what it did look like before we did that.
Well, enough of my boring updates.

This weekend wasn't productive. We didn't do anything till sunday. Over the weekend we did try to get rid of our boxer, he likes
to pee everywhere. We got him a home and the next day we had to go get him because he was supposedly pissing blood, which he wasn't.
They lied so we would take him back, Oh well, we got $45 out of it. We didn't give it back. So we will probably end up keeping him and trying
to get him to stop marking everything. He has been pretty good since we got rid of him.
We went over to his parents house and I shaved their little dog, got their neighbor to agree to me grooming their little westie, and Alan did some yard work for them. We made an easy $50.  Monday we went to my parents house for my sisters birthday. I went to the mall
and bought some stuff from bath and body works. It is apple stuff. I love the smell of apple scented anything. I gave my sister 40 bucks. She turned 15.
My boss tried to get me to come to work on monday but I told him I was at my sister birthday party and he decided not to ask.
They are assholes now because no they want to say Alan isn't allowed up there to help because he is a thief and a liar. Talking about how he supposedly
stole clients or some bullshit. They are pissing me off constantly and I will not have them call me or my husband a liar without proof. So I 
am looking for a new grooming job. I will probably be stuck there for a little while longer though. Oh well, it paid the bills while it lasted.
Today we took the dogs out to Shelby Farms. Alan got us lost but we found our way back. It was good exercise for us anyhow. The dogs enjoyed themselves. So today after I got done at work it was quite fun.
Alan is getting more clients at the vets office so that is great. It will give us extra money. I'm happy for him. I'm glad I could teach him something so he has skills and it is something that he doesn't hate, like most of the jobs he ended up doing when he got here because his bosses were all assholes.
